Dean Street

Cycle completed a gut renovation, new exterior extension, and acquisition of a new C of O for this former SRO. Located on Dean St in Crown Heights, the 4-story brownstone was rebuilt with single units on each floor, each with its own private exterior space.

 Cycle employed a number of sustainable strategies on the building design and construction including:

• An air-tight envelope & high R-values
• Passive solar heating and ventilation
• Low-flow water fixtures
• High-efficiency mechanical equipment
• Connection to exterior spaces

The project was completed in the spring of 2016 and is currently occupied. Interior finishes and fixtures were selected by the owner's interior designer.
